Double XP tokens

As always, the best way to get XP is to simply use double XP tokens and play the game. Methods to earn double XP are limited at the moment, but will expand as time goes on.

You can earn double XP by purchasing cans of Monster energy OR Little Caesars pizza in the United States Ultimately, the battle passes BO6 will be filled with XP tokens and the store packs will flood the game's store with more chances to purchase XP as part of the packs.

To maximize your XP gains, play in fast-paced modes on small mapslike Face Off Moshpit or Nuketown 24/7, while your double XP tokens are active. You don't want to waste time running around larger maps in campy game modes.

In previous years, XP tokens were offered as rewards for viewers who watched the program call of Duty League on YouTube or Twitch, and this is the easiest way to grow them. Be sure to link your Activision account to your Twitch account to earn rewards there and also to your YouTube account, and pay attention to any release campaigns. Next, simply keep a tab open on your PC with streams playing to passively earn drops that include tokens and more.

Earning XP is easy if you rack up kills, complete challenges, and reach the goal in objective-based modes. Respawn modes are great for XP, while Search and Destroy isn't, since when you die you're not playing and therefore don't gain XP.

You can also maximize your XP gains by doing things like throwing lots of flash and stun grenades (the Tactician Expert card will give you two extra tactics) for assistance points and also just points for hitting an enemy with one of them.

Complete daily challenges

Every day around 11am CT, daily challenges reset in both multiplayer and Zombies. There are three challenges available in both modes (2,500 XP each), and completing all three earns you an additional 3,000 XP. That's 10,500 XP per mode, which means you can earn 21,000 XP per day simply by completing challenges in both modes. You can also double it by using double XP tokens.

Badges of Mastery

A time-consuming method of getting a whole mountain of XP at once has been discovered and explained by Twitch streamer Adriann, and it involves mastery badges. Every time you earn a mastery badge for a specific weapon or weapon class (assault rifles, submachine guns, etc.), you get a lot of XP.

Adriann's method involves saving your badges to use while you have an active double XP token. His example was to get all your assault rifles to around 495 kills, use a double XP token, and then complete the kills to earn the Diamond Mastery badge for AR (10,000 XP) along with badges for each weapon for a 'huge amount of XP.

This method can only work once, because once you earn Mastery Badges, they will be tied to your account forever. However, it's a good thing to keep in mind when you need a large amount of XP during one of your Prestige games.

To keep track of your Mastery Badges, go to Barracks, Challenges, and Mastery Badges to find all your badges there. They're tracked for both multiplayer and zombies, so you can level up and earn them in both modes when you need a lot of XP.
