Not even a week after his latest major controversy, Asmongold is back in the spotlight, waging war on various subreddits that have allegedly blacklisted his entire community. According to the streamer and some of his viewers, just being a member of the Asmongold subreddit would automatically ban you from the others.
The first subreddit that allegedly blacklisted Asmongold and his followers was the The Age of the Dragon community. According to a viewer who commented on Asmongold's October 31 stream, being a member of the streamer's subreddit would immediately ban you from The Age of the Dragon sub after just one post. While streaming, he tested these claims, leading to his automatic and permanent removal from the subreddit after posting a post titled: “I'm really excited about Dragon Age: The Veil Guard.”
The controversial creator further commented on the matter on inferior (he claims that promptly banned him from Twitch for two weeks). “It's disgusting the level of racism you can get away with on Reddit these days,” he added. Some other Reddit communities didn't take his comments lightly, and now the infamous Gaming Circlejerk subreddit has also added Asmongold to its automatic ban list. Simply being a member of the creator's subreddit would immediately earn you a permaban if you posted or commented on the Gaming Circlejerk subreddit at any time, which, according to the sub's moderators, has been a fact for months.
Asmongold continues to attract attention and controversy just days after he was allowed to return to Twitch following his ban from the streaming platform for offensive comments made about Palestine, its people and its culture. The fact that his entire community has now been blacklisted alongside him is quite a sight, with more subs likely to follow up on this decision.
