Honkai Star Rail 2.7 leak hints at a new card game mode similar to the TCG

Honkai Star Rail 2.7 should be the last release before Trailblazers head to Amphoreus, making it a very important release. The release will include two of the most anticipated HSR characters, Sunday and Fugue (relaunched Tingyun), but that's not all. Recent leaks have revealed a ton of new information about HSR 2.7, and one of them concerns a new map event, very reminiscent of Genshin Impact's TCG.

A recent leak via FlyingFlame posted on Reddit, marked as trustworthy, revealed a new card game event for HSR 2.7. It is still unconfirmed whether this will be a limited event or not. Previous HSR 2.7 leaks revealed a new “Chess” game mode is in the works and it is possible that it really is a card game. The best part about it is that the TCG is a huge thing in Genshin Impact and it gets constant updates with every release. It wouldn't be too unexpected to have a similar game mode in Honkai Star Rail as well, and I'm pretty sure players will love it.

The leaks also give us a quick look at a few of the cards from the event. From the leaked image we can see maps for Himeko, March 7, Dan Heng, Welt and the Trailblazer. This means that the entire Astral Express crew will likely have a card for the event, although Paimon's card has not yet been confirmed. Other than that, we see some sort of slot in the upper right corner, and each card contains a number in the upper left, while also appearing to have a cool down or turn order in the upper right.

So that's all we could deduce from the new HSR 2.7 card game leak. Notice something we didn't add? Tell us in the comments so others can check it out too. Share your thoughts on the upcoming HSR 2.7 release, whether you're excited for the release of Sunday and Fugue and who you'll prioritize when pulling banners.
