Ubisoft has shared details about Star Wars Outlaws' next big patch.

Billed as the game's “biggest update,” it will make improvements to combat, stealth, and character controls.

This was revealed by Ubisoft Massive's Drew Rechner, who recently took on the role of creative director of Star Wars Outlaws, replacing Julian Gerighty, who shifted his focus to The Division 3.

“The first important area to improve in the game is combat, where we saw a real opportunity to add more depth and excitement to the experience, further rewarding your tactics and precision,” he said in the first of a series of updates planned by the developer.

“Our second key area is stealth which not only improves the legibility and consistency of enemy detection, but also provides options for how you want to approach each encounter.

“Finally, our third major area of focus centers on character control, which means improving protection reliability, improving response when climbing and crouching, and generally improving overall control consistency.”

Star Wars Outlaws Title Update 1.4 will arrive on November 21st, along with the game's release on Steam and the launch of its first story DLC, Wild Card.

Ubisoft announced in September that it was working on a series of updates designed to make the game even better ahead of the holiday season.

He also said that his decision to delay Assassin's Creed Shadows from November to February 2025 was influenced by the poor reception of Star Wars Outlaws, which did not perform as well as it should have and performed poorly commercially.
