Kicks in Fortnite are basically custom shoes that you can add to your Fortnite outfits. The official launch date for Kicks is November 12, 2024. This isn't just a temporary feature: Kicks are here to stay as a permanent cosmetic part of Fortnite's customization options.
How to get kicks in Fortnite
As I just mentioned, the first thing you'll need to do is wait until November 12th, because that's when these amazing Jordan shoes will release. Once the date arrives, there are two main ways to obtain Kicks:
1. Thanks to the Remix Pass (Battle Pass)
If you want to get an Air Jordan in black, white and red colors, you will need to own the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks. Once you have the pass, complete the Week Zero and Week One quests to unlock these shoes. You can find them on the Dynamo TNTina Quest Pages. This is the most cost-effective way to get your first pair of Kicks if you're already planning to get the Battle Pass.
2. From the Item Shop
If you prefer more variety or don't want to get the Battle Pass, you can wait for the Item Shop releases. The first original Fortnite design will be the Shark Slippersavailable from launch day. Although official prices have not yet been announced, rumors suggest that they will cost around 1,000 V-Bucks.
When you first launch Kicks, you will be able to use them with over 500 of the most popular Fortnite outfits. Epic Games is working to expand this compatibility, aiming to have Kicks working with approximately 95% of all outfits by Spring 2025. We can expect to see more brand collaborations, unique designs, and maybe even special event themed shoes in the future.
