When you begin your journey as a Rook in Dragon Age: The Veil Guardthis character's background can follow several alternative paths. The faction you choose for your Tower can change several aspects of your game, and each of them is important.
While your faction option doesn't offer a huge, game-changing choice over the course of the campaign, it pops up often. Rook's background is important and provides unique opportunities and narratives to share throughout the game. You don't have to act on them, though. They may be there simply to serve as a unique backdrop, but it may be difficult for you to narrow down the options. Here's what you need to know about which faction you should choose Dragon Age: The Veil Guard.
The best faction in Dragon Age The Veloguard
There is no superior faction among the six choices in The Guard of the Veil. Each offers a distinct flavor to your campaign, with unique dialogue options, end-game armor, and passive elements that can help, but not make or break your game. Thankfully, you can browse the various end-game armor aspects for each faction and the three classes you might want to play as. These appearances could be the real choices for some The Age of the Dragon players, while others might simply look at the passive aspects and potential dialogue trees for each option.
Here's a full breakdown of each faction and its critical differences in The Guard of the Veil. We won't know all the unique dialogue options you can choose for your character, but we expect a good variety from each of them. (Editor's note: Click on the images in the table to see the end-game armor for each class and faction.)
Unfortunately for players, unlike your character's physical appearance, you won't be able to change it after leaving the main character creation screen and starting the game. We advise you to choose wisely. End-game armor for each faction is a huge plus, but you don't have to go that route. There are other appearance options you can unlock as you play. If you don't like a particular set, focus on the trader of the set you want to unlock for those higher tier picks.
