Festival of the Lost 2024 offers one of the most sought after cosmetic items in Destiny 2: a lost memory. The Memory comes with an all-black shader (even better than Superblack), and one of the ways to get it is by completing a Secret Twilight Triumph.
You can find the triumph on the second page of the General tab within the Triumph section of Episode: Revenant. Unfortunately, the objectives “???”, “??????” And “???????” doesn't say much and will leave you scratching your head almost as much as the Festival of the Lost Souls' weapons are pink, for some reason.
The objectives are simpler than you think, so here's how to complete the Twilight Triumph Destiny 2 so you can get an extra lost memory and a shiny new emblem.
Twilight Triumph Guide for Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2
Before you start working on the triumph, you need to Unlocks the Tower Staff Mask, the Cursed Slave Mask, and the Finalized Ghost Mask by completing event card challenges. These can take a while, as grinding candy can be exhausting.
Once you have the masks, here are the objectives of the Twilight Triumph:
- Talk to Eve, Drifter, and Saint-14 while wearing the Tower Staff mask.
- Get 100 explosive kills while wearing the Cursed Slave Mask.
- Get 50 sword kills in expert haunted sectors while wearing the finalized ghost mask.
Talk to Eve, Drifter, and Saint-14 while wearing the Tower Staff mask
The first step is a little secret research you can do start by talking to Eva while wearing the tower staff mask. Talk to her and the dialogue entitled The Mystery of the Missing Bags will begin. Some of her mystery bags have gone missing and she suggests that the Drifter may be behind it.
Next, go to the annex where Drifter is and talk to him. Not wanting to become Eve's next Aurora cookie, the Drifter tells you that he saw Exo boot prints coming out of the warehouse. That Exo is Saint-14, so go to the Hangar and collect the confiscated bag.
Get 100 explosive kills while wearing the Cursed Slave Mask
The best thing for a Cursed Slave to do is blow things up, so to complete this objective, you need to get explosive kills while wearing the Mask of the Cursed Slave. You can get these kills anywhere in the world, so grab your favorite explosive weapon and go wild.
One of the easiest ways to complete this objective is to load up the Shuro Chi checkpoint (or any other high-density activity) and use a Wave Frame grenade launcher. Martyr's Retribution, Tobearance, or any other Wave Frame will do just fine.
Get 50 sword kills in the Expert Haunted Sector while wearing the finalized Ghost Mask
Expert Infested Sectors are a great way to farm event weapons, including the new Arcane Embrace shotgun. Twilight's final objective requires you to enter one of these expert haunted sectors while wearing the finalized Ghost Mask and getting sword kills.
Expert Infested Sectors don't have matchmaking or a dedicated category in the Fireteam Finder, but you can still load in yourself and complete this objective. Of course, if you have a fireteam, you can also farm a lot of loot.
Rewards for Twilight's Triumph in Destiny 2
As a reward for completing this triumph, you will receive a Lost memory apply to crafted or upgraded weapons and a ghostly Spectral carapace emblem.
Remember this You don't have to do this Triumph to start earning Lost Memories. They can drop from creepy engrams, and the drop rate is quite high, so you can easily stock up on them. Two of the five engrams I opened contained the Lost Memory, a much higher number than last year.
However, you can only hold three lost memories at a timeso be sure to apply them to your favorite weapons before the event ends.
